Performing songs made famous by Ellington, Basie, Miles Davis, Tito Puente and much more. The jump swing sounds like Jump, Jive and Wail on up to the Cuban rhythms that are so popular today such as the latin sounds of Mario Bauza, Pancho Sanchez and much more. The classic songs written by these great composers are combined with an intelligent combination of original material, to present a memorable musical event.

This ensemble consists of five to seven pieces. One of Chicago's finest female vocalists, Robin Watson, joins the group when a female vocalist is desired. She sings everything from jazz standards to latin hits. With a choice selection of jazz standards and infectious Latin rhythms, this group makes any engagement a classy event. Performing concerts, club dates and private engagements. This band was featured at the Shedd Aquarium’s, "Jazzin' at the Shedd Series." Thursday’s throughout last summer. The Laksar Reese Trio/Quartet (3-4 pieces):
A classy trio that consists of Saxophone/flute. This group performs straight-ahead, latin and funky jazz. Currently performing in clubs, concert venues and private engagements in the greater Chicagoland area, throughout the United States and around the world.

Laksar Reese Latin Jazz Ensemble (5-8 pieces):
Latin Jazz, Cuban style. From bebop & bossa nova, to the calypso music of the Caribbean.This band is led by Laksar Reese on saxophones and flute, and features Cuban Bassist and Vocalist Hector Silviera. Performing music from the Buena Vista Social Club to Pancho Sanchez. Tito Puente, & Dizzy Gillespie to Mario Bauza. Classic standards combined with their own latin-jazz originals.

Hector Silviera brings the traditional sounds of Cuba to this ensemble. He plays and sings, music similar in style to the music made popular by the Buena Vista Social Club. This band also plays, Salsa , Merengue, Cha- Cha-Cha and much more.

The Julie Ponce Orchestra (5-9 pieces):

This band is led by Julie Ponce on Bass and lead vocals, and features the finest musicians Chicago has to offer. From Tito Puente to Aretha Franklin. From jazz standards to jump swing. The soul and funk hits of the seventies to the pop hits of today. This group is perfect for the event where a classy blend of pop, rock and jazz music is desired.

This group can be booked as a five to eight piece ensemble. The seven piece ensemble consists of bass/ lead vocals, piano/ backup vocals,drums, guitar, saxophone/flute, trumpet, trombone. Extra horns and a percussionist are added to make up the larger ensembles. This group can also expand into a full size big band. Orquesta Obsesión: (7-9 pieces) This exciting band plays a high energy mixture of Latin music. From Salsa, Mambo and Timba to, Latin Jazz, Cha-Cha-Cha, & Merengue. From Brazilian Bossa Nova & Samba to the Calypso music of the Caribbean. Performing hits from the Buena Vista Social Club and the Mambo Kings, to Tito Puente, and onto the classic Cuban sounds of Nino Rivera to Chucho Valdes & Irakere, Mongo Santamaria, Maria Bauza y mucho mas.

From seriou Salsa, Son and latin Jazz to Cha-Cha-Cha. This band is guaranteed to get your audience dancing, featuring veteran's of the national and international music scene. This band features the great Male Vocalist Miguel Maldonado.

This ensemble consists of seven to nine pieces, Latin Dancers can also be added to ignite your event. 911 Mambo Orchestra (12-20 pieces):
The hottest Mambo orchestra in the Midwest. One of only a few in the entire country. A Latin big band, performing original arrangements by the director Angel Melendez as well as music by Tito Puente, Eddie Palmieri, and many more.

From Latin Jazz to Serious Salsa. Impossible not to dance to this ensemble, featuring veteran's of the national and international music scene. This ensemble is booked as a twelve to twenty piece ensemble. Latin Dancers can also be added to ignite your event. This band is currently performing throughout the Midwest, and in and around Chicago at major clubs and festivals. Recent appearances include The House of Blues and the Chicago Cultural Center.

Orquesta 911 (7-10 pieces):
A downsized version of the 911 Mambo orchestra performing salsa, merengue,cumbias and latin jazz. From Pancho Sanchez and Dizzy Gillespie to Tito Puente and much more. Currently performing at Chicago's Green Dolphin Street, Excalibur and Tropicana salsa clubs.

Hector Silveira y Su Orquesta (Hector Silveira Orchestra) (7-14 pieces):
This ensemble performs the new style of Cuban Music, also called Timba Cubana. This music has been made popular by cuban bands such as Los Van Van and Bamboleo. This orchestra plays Salsa, Son, & Guaracha, Cuban Style. Led by vocalist, bassist and arranger Hector Silveira, who recently relocated to Chicago from Havana, Cuba. The repertoire consists of original compositions by the bandleader as well as his arrangements of classic Cuban music.

This ensemble also plays the traditional old style Cuban Son, in the style of music made popular by the Buena Vista Social Club. This band also plays, Cumbias , Merengue, Cha- Cha-Cha and much more. This orquestra has toured throughout Cuba the Caribbean, and South America. This ensemble can be booked as a seven piece on up to an exciting Cuban style 14 piece Salsa Orchestra.

Trio Elan (3 pieces):
The premiere chamber trio in Chicago. Performing classical works from the great composers. Bach, Handel and Mozart, Beethoven and Vilvadi are all in the repertoire. The members of this ensemble are three of the principal musicians with The Civic Orchestra of Chicago. This group has been featured in concert halls across the country and is currently performing in a variety of settings from corporate events to private wedding engagements.

Swing Express (4-5 pieces):
This four to five piece swing ensemble, jumps, jive and grooves. Performing everything from jump swing to jazz standards as well as latin grooves and funky jazz. If you want to go with a smaller ensemble that mixes jazz, jump and swing this ensemble is perfect for your event. This has band has performed at such noted Chicago venues as Olive and currently plays throughout Chicago at various clubs and private venues.
